• DIY cow elk hunt with exclusive access to 2,728 acres of private land across three ranch parcels near Wilsall, Montana.
  
• Located in GMU 393 with a mix of irrigated hayfields, foothills, native grasslands, and natural funnels bordering public lands.
  
• Elk move onto the property throughout the shoulder season as they transition from higher elevations.
  
• Comfortable 3-bedroom guest house nearby with full kitchen and washer/dryer for easy evenings after long days afield.
  
• Spot-and-stalk hunting with opportunities for both close encounters in draws and foothills or longer shots across open ground.
  
• Relaxed, low-pressure hunt in a working cattle ranch environment with strong late-season elk movement.

• Fly into Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), about 1 hour 15 minutes from the ranch.
  
• Closest town is Wilsall, MT (just minutes away) with restaurants, fuel, and basic supplies.
  
• Lodging provided: Sleeps up to 6 guests, 3 bedrooms (3 double beds), 1 bathroom with hot water & shower, Full kitchen with oven, stove, fridge/freezer, washer & dryer.
  
• Meals are not included.
  
• Landowners are accommodating and happy to help point you in the right direction, but are not your guide.
  
• Properties are easily reached by vehicle — no off-road vehicle required.
  
• Hunting areas range from flat hayfields to rolling foothills and natural drainages.
  Hunters can glass from vantage points or spot-and-stalk across the open country.
  
• Suitable for most hunters — plenty of opportunities without needing extreme physical exertion.

• All nonresident cow elk tags are $270 and can be purchased over the counter (397-00).
  
• Tags will not sell out, but it is the hunter’s responsibility to purchase the license before the hunt.
  
• Hunters must also purchase a Base Hunting License ($15) and Conservation License ($10) before hunting.
  
• Youth hunters (ages 12–15 in Montana) can purchase reduced-cost tags.
  
• Tags can be purchased online at fwp.mt.gov.

BY BUYING THIS HUNT YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• Hunters must respect the landowner and their property at all times.
  
• You agree to hold the landowner harmless from any accidents, injuries, or issues that occur during your hunt.
  
• Any damage caused to the landowner’s property is your responsibility to repair or cover.
  
• Disrespectful behavior will result in being blacklisted and permanently removed as an OUTDOORSMAN Member.
