Cow Elk Hunt for 2

• Fully DIY cow elk hunt with exclusive access to private land during your stay.
• Over 15,000 acres split between GMUs 535 & 590.
• Mix of terrain: farm ground, hayfields, river bottoms, foothills, and timbered bluffs.
• Elk are on the property daily and accustomed to human activity.

• Spot-and-stalk hunting with chances for close encounters in the timber or longer shots in open country.

• Fly into Billings Logan International Airport (BIL), about 1 hour from the ranch.
  
• Closest town is Roundup, MT (10 miles away), with restaurants, fuel, and a butcher/processor who can ship your elk.
  
• Lodging provided on the ranch:
  3 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 singles, 1 double)
  2 bathrooms with hot water and shower
  
• Meals are not included.
  
• Landowner is extremely accommodating and will help with anything you need — even offering airport pickup and use of their side-by-side.
  
• Property is just 1 mile off the main road, easy to access by vehicle.

• Hunters can choose between glassing and spot-and-stalk hunting in open country, or hiking into timber.
  
• Suitable for most hunters — plenty of opportunities without needing extreme physical exertion.

• All nonresident cow elk (Elk B) tags are $270 and can be purchased over the counter.
  
• Tags will not sell out, but it is the hunter’s responsibility to purchase the license before the hunt.
  
• Hunters must also purchase a Base Hunting License ($15) and Conservation License ($10) before hunting.
  
• Youth hunters (ages 12–15 in Montana) can purchase reduced-cost tags.
  
• Tags can be purchased online at fwp.mt.gov.
  
• Shoulder season dates: December 1 – February 15 (GMUs 535 & 590).

BY BUYING THIS HUNT YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• Hunters must respect the landowner and their property at all times.
  
• You agree to hold the landowner harmless from any accidents, injuries, or issues that occur during your hunt.
  
• Any damage caused to the landowner’s property is your responsibility to repair or cover.
  
• Disrespectful behavior will result in being blacklisted and permanently removed as an OUTDOORSMAN Member.
